No one is ever turned away at the door. If cost is ever a barrier for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at tickets@denverphilharmonic.org. We’re here to help ensure that you can be part of the magic.
Our Pricing Structure
We’ve created a pricing structure that allows us to provide affordable access to a broad range of individuals and families in our community. Our ticket prices are as follows:
- $30 – Adult/General Admission
- $20 – Senior, Military, Healthcare Workers, First Responders
- $12 – Student and Teacher
- $0 – YouthTIX Program – anyone 18 and younger are admitted free
This pricing structure is designed to provide discounts to a large swath of our community while also offering fair pricing for those who prefer to support the arts by purchasing tickets.
Ticket to Belong
We recognize our pricing structure still doesn’t work for everyone despite its attempt to be cognizant of economic realities. In response, we regularly reach out to our community with free and discounted ticket offers in attempts to bring music to people who otherwise would be unable to attend. Here’s what people are saying about our efforts to make classical music affordable and accessible:
“You definitely helped us out! It’s been a tough few years. Now my four-year-old will get to go to his first concert tonight! I love it! Thank you so much 🥰”

“This helps a lot with exposing us to more classical music and performers, as we’d struggle to justify this otherwise.”

“I’m kind of broke right now and I haven’t been to a higher-end concert performance in ages. Thanks for doing this.”

“This is so thoughtful and kind of you!! I just got us tickets for Saturday night. Thank you so much for putting some good into the world!”

“As someone that sings in the Colorado Symphony Chorus and loathes, with every fiber of my being, the fact that tickets are so expensive that they’ve effectively locked the finer arts off from people of limited means – thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This kind of thing can literally change lives.”

“I’m kinda teary right now, because my husband and I are going on a Valentine’s date for the first time in a while. We couldn’t have done it without the discount (healthcare worker!). Thank you SO SO much!”

“I so much appreciate what you are doing for the people that live here. This makes me so happy for everyone that can go and experience this.”
– Opus_Zure, November 10, 2023 Link
“Thank you! Money is really tight right now, and we are thrilled to be able to go to this!”

“I didn’t realize how equity-centered DPO is! This is beautiful. As someone with a background in music education, I sometimes feel crushed when I think about how I can’t be involved in the arts at the level I used to be. Really appreciate all you do for the community.”

“This is amazing, thank you!!! I have been struggling lately (both financially and emotionally), and the little things (spending an evening listening to the Philharmonic orchestra) that bring joy have had to go. Thank you so much for continuing to ensure money isn’t a barrier to the DPO!!”

Pay What You Can Week
Additionally, the success of our community outreach inspired us to celebrate Classical Music Appreciation Month by offering a Pay What You Can initiative for the first week of September 2024. This initiative provides the opportunity to experience classical music without the stress of budget constraints.
We are deeply committed to serving our community, and these responses reflect the positive impact of our ticketing philosophy. Your support makes it possible for us to continue offering free and discounted tickets so everyone, no matter their circumstances, can experience the beauty of live orchestral music.
If you ever need help with tickets, or if you are interested in supporting our mission, please contact us at tickets@denverphilharmonic.org. Together, we ensure that the doors of Denver Philharmonic Orchestra remain open to all.
