Fourth Annual International Conducting Workshop, Concert and Competition

Conduct the award-winning Denver Philharmonic Orchestra and study with Maestros Lawrence Golan and Robert Spano. The workshop includes two levels of participation, score study, career development and programming classes, rehearsals with the orchestra, video reviews, a final performance for all participants, and one competition winner will be invited back to guest conduct a piece in the DPO’s 2023–24 Season.
Administered by the International Conducting Institute (ICI) whose mission is to advance the art of conducting by providing conductor workshops with the highest level of instruction, the most podium time, and the most affordable tuition possible in order to help students achieve their career goals. Past ICI students have gone on to be accepted at prestigious masters and doctoral programs, to win assistant conductor jobs at major orchestras, music directorships of youth and professional orchestras, and posts at major universities, and to have successful freelance conducting careers.
