2025-26 Audition Schedule

Percussion Only – Tuesday, May 19, 2026, 6:00PM arrival

Audition Location: Englewood Middle School – Parking Location

If you cannot make the scheduled date for the percussion audition, you may send a recording of yourself playing the pieces – in order, with one take.  No stopping the recording.  You would be interviewed at a time that works for you and the panel, but would be prior to the scheduled audition date of Tuesday, May 19.

2026-27 Audition Schedule

Fall ’26 & Spring ’27 Auditions – TBA

Audition Location: El Sistema Colorado

Note: All in-person auditions are blind utilizing a screen, muted flooring, and audition proctor.

If you are interested in auditioning as a sub, fill out the online form below. After review of your resume, the audition committee may request a 2-minute video audition with the music of your choice. If this is the case, here are the video submission instructions.

String musicians: It is not mandatory to follow all bowings shown in the excerpts. Use good judgment, applying bowings you feel may be more appropriate to the music.

PRINCIPAL MUSICIAN (PAID)

All paid musicians are independent contractors of the organization and will receive an IRS 1099 statement yearly; agreements are renewed season-by-season.

SECTION MUSICIAN (VOLUNTEER)
