We’ve been counting down to this moment, and we’re not going to bury the lead: next season is going to be spectacular.
Five concerts. Five completely different worlds to step into. A historic world premiere. A once-in-a-generation Beethoven anniversary. Valentine’s dogs. Emerging conductors from around the globe competing live onstage. Colorado’s brightest young musicians sharing the spotlight. Undivided | October 9 & 10, 2026
A historic season opener featuring the world premiere of John Heins’ Garden of the Gods (written for Colorado’s 150th anniversary and the U.S. Semiquincentennial) alongside music that celebrates our shared humanity in full orchestral voice.
Holiday Cheer! | December 11 & 12, 2026
All your holiday favorites, live and in full orchestra. Scott O’Neil leads a sparkling, joyful evening the whole family will love—including the return of his own beloved ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Unconditionally Yours | February 13, 2027
Internationally acclaimed violinist Linda Wang joins Music Director Laureate Lawrence Golan for a Valentine’s weekend celebration of love in every form. Plus the DPO’s International Conducting Workshop & Competition, and possibly some very good dogs.
Garden of Your Mind | March 19 & 20, 2027
Two hundred years since the world lost Beethoven. One night to celebrate everything he left behind. The Eroica (the symphony Beethoven himself loved most) takes center stage in a concert as moving as it is magnificent.
Once Upon a Tune | May 21 & 22, 2027
A mythic, elemental season finale built around music that changed everything, plus a one-of-a-kind collaboration with the Colorado State Music Teachers Association, featuring competition winners performing their own works alongside the full orchestra.
