Voting runs February 10–18
Once a year, the internet briefly transforms into a giant generosity machine. It’s called Project for Awesome (P4A), and it works in a beautifully simple way: people make videos about causes they care about, the public votes, and real grant money goes to the organizations the community chooses.
No auctions. No raffles. No minimum donation required. Just attention turned into impact.
This year, DPO has submitted a video for Project for Awesome 2026. Out of hundreds of submissions, only 30 nonprofits will receive funding, and community voting will decide which ones make the cut. That means the outcome depends entirely on supporters showing up and casting their votes.
Your vote helps direct existing donor funds toward the programs you care about. In other words, you don’t have to give money yourself to help DPO receive funding. You simply help decide where the money goes.
If our concerts, outreach, More Than Music programs, and commitment to accessible music matter to you, this is one of the most powerful ways to support them. A single vote might feel small, but P4A is built on thousands of small actions stacking into something significant.

Vote for DPO (once per charity)
That’s it. Truly.
Voting opens February 10 and closes February 18, and the final days are when every vote counts the most.
The arts thrive because communities choose to keep them alive. This week, that choice takes about 30 seconds.
Help us tip the scales.
