To celebrate our 79th season, Executive Director Roger Haak is riding his bike 79 miles! His route will swing by several locations of importance to DPO’s history (did you know Antonia Brico conducted at Red Rocks?), and ending at Diebolt Brewing Company, where we’ll be celebrating DPO’s birthday with our PHILHARMANIA classical music jam!
On Friday, June 5th, come play with us and come ride with us! Help us raise $7,900 to commemorate 79 seasons and beyond!
The Route
Roger’s route runs through several locations from DPO’s history, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre (where founder Antonia Brico conducted during the 40’s), Olinger Cemetery (home of Brico’s gravesite), Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Central Presbyterian Church (Antonia Brico Stage), and Paramount Theatre.
