Let’s dance!

We’re off to Spain, and yes, we packed the castanets! The first step in this evening’s dance comes from an opera by Manuel de Falla, La vida breve. Plucked from our chamber music series, audience-favorite Rebecca Moritzky takes the mainstage performing Soñando en español, Deborah Henson-Conant’s dreamlike harp concerto. Guest conductor José Miguel Rodilla brings his Spanish flair to Enrique Granados’ Three Spanish Dances and de Falla’s Three-Cornered Hat Suite.
