It’s no secret this year was difficult.
We are not alone in the challenges we’ve faced over the past nine months. Canceled concerts, lost revenue, and a full season that looks like a giant question mark.
But there have been some silver linings!
We were able to safely produce socially-distanced outdoor concerts in September. Strings at Stanley was our first time playing large-scale outdoor concerts in decades! The three-concert series at Stanley Marketplace was the first time we played together in months — we hope to do something similar in the spring!
In November, we hosted our first free virtual gathering, Pines of Rome (at Home), and believe us when we say how good it was to see so many familiar faces on Zoom! We had people join from all over the country, and it made us feel like a community again.
And then just this week — Colorado Gives Day. We are so touched that you made DPO a priority in your giving. We know you’ve had a hard 2020, too, so please accept our heartfelt thanks for your donations.
Take care, and we’ll see you soon!
