Sante! to this Friday’s season premiere, First Impressions: Music & Monet. We host free “More Than Music” activities before, during and after each concert to enhance your experience. Pre-show, join me over at the University Club (across the street!) for a French-themed menu and a nice glass of wine for just $25. Dinner reservations start at 6pm. Oh là là!
Then stroll, or tour à pied, across the way to the hall and discuss Monet with your DPO friends while you enjoy more French wine and local craft beer provided by our friends at Total Wine or a sip of absinthe from Leopold Bros distillery. One or two French words may be required. (The French American School of Denver can help with that!)
My daughter Sloane is looking forward to making a Monet-inspired water lily with the staff from the Denver Art Museum. Did you know Monet loved to garden? This was his inspiration and passion. What a great event for all of the little artisans. Now that is culture on a Friday!
