April 20, our friends from the Bavarian Philharmonic Chorus lift their voices in our sixth collaboration with the leading European orchestra. Written for his wife’s extraordinary voice, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Great” Mass lands as the concert centerpiece this holiday weekend. Audience-favorite Mark Mast guest conducts Gloria.

Early in his career he had the great fortune to meet and study with Leonard Bernstein, who provided a major impetus for his professional development and confidence as a conductor. Soon thereafter, Mast had the opportunity to interact closely with the renowned Sergiu Celibidache, who became the central influence in Mark’s development as conductor.
