Dear DPO Family,
For the sake of the health of our community, and with the full intention of coming back next season happy and healthy, we are sadly canceling the rest of the season.
Ticket holders, if you would like to donate the cost of your ticket or request a refund, instructions and deadlines can be found below.
Besides our health and safety, this challenge also brings with it economic uncertainty for everyone — including our orchestra. We may incur losses equal to a significant portion of our annual operating budget. While we know many of you also face incredible hardships right now, we ask that if you are able, please consider donating your tickets, or making a small donation to help ensure the DPO stays healthy in these unforeseen times.
We want to thank everyone who has reached out to us in support over the past week — patrons, volunteers and musicians. The thought of performing and bringing our community back together motivates us to get through these difficult times. After this passes — and it will pass — we will get together, toast to our community’s perseverance, and once again enjoy the healing and transformative powers of music!
Jon Olafson, President
Denver Philharmonic Board of Directors
