And you think your life is dramatic.
Central City Opera and the Performing Arts Academy Festival Chorus bring the power, passion and mystery of Mozart’s Requiem to the Antonia Brico Stage in our special collaboration with the fifth oldest professional opera company in the country. You’ll also hear Gioachino Rossini’s splendid overture to La gazza ladra, Amilcare Ponchielli’s “Dance of the Hours” from La Gioconda (think “Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh”), and the ever-popular “Polovetsian Dances” from Prince Igor by Alexander Borodin.
